Burial will be in Denson Cemetery near Grapeland. under direction of Bailey Foster Funeral Home, Grapeland.

Mrs. Conn died Sept. 5 in a Houston hospital. She was born Nov. 29, 1907, in Houston County to the late John and Eugenia Williams Lawrence.

She was a homemaker and member of Ephesus Baptist Church. She was, preceded in death by her husband, Robert Conn in 1984; son, Ledell "Pete" Conn, infant son; sisters, Dovie Langham and Katie Platt; and brothers, Virgil Lawrence, Doc Lawrence, Earl Lawrence and Mutt Lawrence. Survivors include son, Orville Ray Conn, Houston; sisters, Benola Peterson, Crockett, and Gladys Templeton, Llano; nine grandchildren; 10 ores grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Margaret Martin JACKSONVILLE Services for Margaret Martin, 88, Rialto, formerly of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m.

Monday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville, with the Rev. Hank Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Earle's Chapel Cemetery near Jacksonville. Mrs. Martin died Sept.

4 in San Bernardino, Calif. She was born Sept. 12, 1908, Jacksonville and lived in Jacksonville until 1942 when she moved to California. She lived in Rialto, for the last year. She was a homemaker, owned Square Deal Hardware of Las Vegas, for many years and was a 63-year member of Order of Eastern Star No.

377 in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Martin in 1992, and son, Thomas Tyra in 1991. Survivors include daughters, Mary Tyra Vasbinder, Colton, Ethelyn Tyra Fesmire, Rialto, and Evelyn Tyra Zandbergen, Modesto, stepdaughters, Darlene Ciaky, Trenton, and Myrtle Jezylo, Wyandotte, brothers, Sydney F. Dudley, Jacksonville, and Leon Dudley, Tyler; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Griffin, Winnsboro; sons, Patrick Reeves and Ed Griffin, both of Winnsboro, Mark Reeves, El Reno, Jimmy Griffin and Brian "Kelly" Griffin, both of Angleton, and Billy Griffin, Danbury; daughter, Bonnie Hebert, Angleton; brother, Morris Vessel, Houston; sister, Billie Jean Linville, Dell City, and 19 grandchildren.

Florene Rawlings WINNSBORO Services for Florene Rawlings, 96, Winnsboro, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday at Beaty Funeral Home chapel, Winnsboro, with the Rev. Henry Suche officiating. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs City Cemetery. Mrs.

Rawlings died Sept. 6 in a Winnsboro hospital. She was born July 3, 1901, in Winnsboro to the late B.F. Sr. and Addie Carter Hightower Campbell.

She received her bachelor's degree from University of Texas in 1922 and taught school and was a florist with Sulphur Springs Floral from 1942-1970. She was member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro, Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband 44 years, Don S. Rawlings Sr. in 1970; sons, Wallace Campbell Rawlings and Pat Malcolm Rawlings; three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include son, Don S. Rawlings Katy; sister, Ona Edwards, Mount Pleasant; seven grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. John T.

Meeks RUSK John Travis Meeks, 77, Rusk, died Sept. 5 at his residence. Memorial services will be held later, arrangements are under direction Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Rusk. Mr. Meeks was born Sept.

16, 1919, in Bastrop, La. He lived in Rusk for four years, and was an auto mechanic. FRANKSTON Services for Grace Marie Holimon, 90, Frankston, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Frankston, with the Rev. James Engle officiating.

5 in a Frankston nursing home. She was born June 15, 1907, in Oklahoma and lived in Frankston for 12 years. She was a homemaker and member of Church of Christ. Mrs. Vest died Sept. 5 at her residence. She was born Dec. 24, 1919.

She lived in Richardson for 30 years in Jacksonville prior to moving to Heath. She retired from Rockwell Industries and was member of Earle's Chapel Methodist Church and Rebecca Lodge No. 200 of Jacksonville. Survivors include sons, Billy Ray Vest, Plano, and Daniel Glenn Vest, Houston; sister, Opal Crawford, Waller; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was born April 20, 1936, in Athens to the late Jesse Jackson and Lola Mae Burton Sanders. She lived in Overton most of her life, was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Ard, Overton; son, Randy Barton, Leveretts Chapel; daughters, Vicki Nelms, Overton, and Teresa Garrett, New London; brother, Gary Sanders, Denton; sisters, Dian Beaird, Hallsville, and Betty Martin, Abilene; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dickson died Sept. 5. He was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Westminister, S.C., and served in the Merchant Marines in the South Pacific during World War II. He retired in Jacksonville as owner of Pine Lodge Motel.

He was a sponsor of New Hope and Dickson Emergency Children's Shelter has been established in his memory. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Misty Dickson. Survivors include sons, Newton Richard Dickson, Humble, and John Harold Dickson Jacksonville; sister, Evelyn Dickson Myers; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nephews; one niece; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vennie Rea Harris.
