“As always, the Classic was wonderful!! The service is always top-notch. We were celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary and they took extra care to make us feel welcome and special. The live music was great and although we sat very near to the musician, it was not at all too loud. The food was wonderful, although we missed the small amuse (sample) that the chef used to send out. That was always such a wonderful little extra touch. We also missed the seasonal risotto cakes we used to alway look forward to. However, still a perfect evening and highly recommend!”

“We were looking for authentic Texas BBQ and we found it. Our family was able to select several different cuts of meat and just dig in to enjoy. The pit masters loaded up our tray before heading inside to grab our sides and drinks.The pulled pork was the best followed by the brisket and sausages. The ribs had great flavor but I have had better elsewhere.For the gluten free folks, they have a gluten free menu that lists what is safe to eat and it was very inclusive.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a rustic feel. Coming from Minnesota, we really enjoyed the food and overall experience! We would definitely come here again”

“This place has that old Victorian coffee bakery shop vibes. Walking in and getting that auto feel of needing coffee and a pastry. Ordered a double espresso with a cream cheese brownie at 3:45 in the afternoon. While waiting, I was surrounded by the atmosphere of wonders. Especially a neat design of coffee mugs on the wall. The only wish I had if they had a mini mug for the espresso. But the pricing for everything is perfect.”

“We had a lovely supper on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Bayou Jack's in Roanoke, TX.The shrimp & grits were tasty as was the pesto bread appetizer.Shawn, our waitperson was outstanding! He was resilient, personable, affable and efficient!Sadly, the restaurant was apparently understaffed as the floors were quite dirty with dropped food, paper napkins, ad infinitum.”

“Great parrilladas and margaritas. The tj melon, ask for extra spicy, is really good. All their margaritas are excellent though. Also ask for corn and sautéed vegetables, instead of the rice and beans, they are sooooo good. Their chips and salsa is very good as well. Their house salsa has a great flavor and is a little spicy, too spicy for kids, but I loved it. Kids wouldn't eat it. They got brisket queso and devoured it instead of the salsa. Great homemade flour and corn tortillas.”

“Honestly the tacos have a lot of meat and cheese and are always crunchy. They have limited ingredients but what they have is good. The tortillas are always good and never dry or tough.”

The culture that the leadership has built for this store is second to none and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. “I ordered here a couple times, so I cannot say anything for the Atmosphere or Service inside the Restaurant. But I got take-out Sushi twice and the Mongolian beef with white rice. The sushi is SO good!! yes, it is pricey but there are still more expensive places around that will take over 20$ for a roll of sushi. I love the New Mexico roll, they have 50 state rolls, but this one is my absolut favorite. The mongolian beef was good as well, just a little oily for some reason. But I will definitely get sushi again soon!”
