The Honours Individual Project: supplementing your Bachelor Honours programme while abroad

For students within the Bachelor Honours programme, the tracks of Philosophy, Mathematics and Shaping the Futureallow students to go abroad (or become otherwise unable to join the in-person Honours sessions) while still continuing their Honours programme. Students abroad follow then theHonours Individual Project(HIP) course, which is a tailored course of 10 ECTS (the equivalent of two missing Honours courses/one semester abroad; a 5 ECTS version of the HIP is in some cases also possible). Students who want to follow the HIP should fill in this form to inform the Honours Office of their desire to start a HIP. Please note that, as the HIP requires some preparation for the student and supervisor, you should fill in this form at least 3 months before the start of your HIP.

Quitting the Honours programme

You can quit the Honours programme at any time! To quit the programme, please make sure to (1)inform your coordinator of your disenrollment and (2)fill out this form to conclude your programme.

When quitting the programme before completion, you will not receive an Honours Certificate or Honours Pin. All completed Honours courses will still be put on your diploma supplement, showing the amount of credits that you have achieved within the programme.
